Collection Search

A collection search is conducted to find all art in a specific area of interest.  As an example, an inventor may be interested in all issued patents and published patent applications directed to cameras used in cell phones.  The searcher assembles a corpus of data in the form of patents and assembles the collection into a form that may be studied to learn about what already exists.  In this manner an inventor or researcher may discover who is involved in a given art, what companies are active in this area, and what is known in published documents regarding this area of interest.  The collection may be useful in stimulating an inventor to solve a problem identified in the priort art.
